Chanukah, the Jewish festival of lights, celebrates the freedom to live and worship as we choose. But increasingly, that freedom is threatened by bigotry and hate. Please join friends across Connecticut online as we learn how to have meaningful conversations about antisemitism and its impact on all of us.

Our program will feature:

  • A song by Cantor Julia Cadrain of Temple Israel in Westport, CT

  • A presentation by Oren Jacobson, Co-Founder of Project Shema

  • A personal story from recent college graduate and ADL volunteer Ellie Cooper of Middlefield, CT

Presented by

  • The Jewish Federations of Greater New Haven & Greater Hartford; Eastern Connecticut; Greenwich; Stamford, New Canaan & Darien; Upper Fairfield; and Western Connecticut

  • The Jewish Community Relations Councils of Greater Hartford & Greater New Haven; Stamford, New Canaan & Darien; and Upper Fairfield

  • ADL Connecticut

  • The Jewish Federation Association of Connecticut (JFACT)
