Talk by Faisal Saleh, founder and director of Palestine Museum US in Woodbridge, after Shabbat services and weekly luncheon. Sabbath rules will be observed.
Faisal Saleh, founder and executive director of the newly established (April 2018) Palestine
Museum US in Woodbridge, CT will talk about his life story and background as a Palestinian from
a refugee family. He will also discuss the reasons behind establishing the Museum and share his
personal perspective on the prospects for peace between the Israelis and Palestinians. Saleh
was born in the town of Ramallah in 1951 and came to the United States 50 years ago. He
studied at Oberlin College (Ohio), completing a junior year abroad program at the Hebrew
University in 1972-73. He also holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut. After a
successful career in the business world he is now focusing his attention on matters related to
Palestine.
