Roots / Shorashim / Judur : Painful Hope

Rabbi Hanan Schlesinger, one of the founders of “Roots / Shorashim / Judur,” and Shadi Abu Awwad, its Palestinian youth director, will share their personal, interconnected stories and present their groundbreaking and challenging grassroots work. “Roots / Shorashim / Judur” is a unique collaboration of Palestinians and Israelis in the Gush Etzion-Bethlehem-Hebron area who are building a grassroots model for coexistence. At Congregation Beth El - Keser Israel, 85 Harrison St., at the corner of Whalley Ave. Sabbath rules will be observed.
