Protecting Genocide Survivors through Refugee Resettlement

1:30PM - 2:30PM

Join HIAS, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM), and Rohingya advocates for a discussion about contemporary genocide and the role refugee resettlement can play in response to the resulting forced displacement. This resettlement conversation comes at a particularly important moment as so much attention is now being paid to the rebuilding of the U.S. refugee resettlement program.

The program will specifically focus on the Rohingya genocide, and will include concrete recommendations for taking action to support the refugee resettlement program and advocating for increased opportunities for Rohingya resettlement.

This program is co-presented by HIAS and USHMM and will take place on Tuesday, November 16th at 1:30 pm EST.
