All households that pledge $5,000 or more to the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven’s 2021 Annual Campaign are welcome to attend. Major donors are encouraged to set the tone as leaders of the campaign. Please consider your commitment in advance of the Major Gifts brunch. Join us outside, in person at a location in Woodbridge (address provided after registration).

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be offered on zoom only.

Irving Eckhardt z’l

The Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven’s Major Donor Event is named in perpetuity for Irving Eckhardt, a philanthropist and businessman whose estate included a large endowment to support the Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign. (Perpetual Annual Campaign Endowment Fund/PACE) One of a handful of Jewish families in Seymour, CT, the Eckhardts owned and operated a furniture store for more than 85 years. Irving followed his parents, Nathan and Ida, into the family business until it was sold in 2005.
