The Fortunoff Video Archive at Yale University Library introduces its new podcast series based on testimonies in its collection. The series, titled “Those Who Were There: Voices from the Holocaust,” attempts to open a window on the collection and provide broader access to the stories of survivors and witnesses.
Join us for an introduction to the series by its producers, Eric Marcus and Nahanni Rous, as well as the series narrator Eleanor Reissa. Eric is an author and oral historian, and his podcast Making Gay History was the inspiration for the Fortunoff Archive’s foray into this medium. Nahanni Rous is a documentary filmmaker and the producer and host of Can We Talk? the podcast at the Jewish Women’s Archive. Eleanor Reissa is a director, writer and singer.
