GUN VIOLENCE AND PROPOSED LEGISLATION -
FORUM, MARCH 7, 2019 AT
CONGREGATION BETH SHALOM RODFE ZEDEK
Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek (CBSRZ) will host a forum examining gun violence and potential Connecticut legislation on March 7 at 7-9pm. In the aftermath of many gun assaults in recent months and years, and with a large Democratic and progressive shift in the Connecticut legislature, a variety of bills have been filed addressing such issues as ghost guns, gun safety and issues of liability. All issues may be discussed.
Jeremy Stein, executive director of Connecticut Against Gun Violence and a representative from the Connecticut Citizens Defense League will speak and answer questions.
We will also discuss Jewish religious text and teachings on these issues. This event is open to the public. CBSRZ is located at 55 E. Kings Highway, Chester. For more information, and to obtain any materials for review before the forum, please contact the CBSRZ office at 860-526-8920.
