Award-winning chef, teacher and best-selling cookbook author, Tina Wasserman, joins Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek as it's 2016 Kutnick Scholar-in-Resident for the weekend. The public is invited to join CBSRZ members and Tina Wasserman as a Brunch and Learn session on Saturday, December 17th, beginning at 11;00 am. Ms. Wasserman will give a presentation on Jewish food as it developed throughout time and space and attendees will simultaneously learn about, and yes, consume Jewish culinary delights from Asia, Africa, Europe and North and South America. Reservations are requested in advance, as well as a $9 per person donation to help cover the cost of the food. Contact Debbie in the CBSRZ office to reserve a space. 860-526-8920

Two of Ms. Wasserman's cookbooks, "Entree to Judaism: a Culinary Exploration of the Jewish Diaspora" and "Entree to Judaism for Families: Jewish Cooking and Kitchen Conversations with Children" will also be available for purchase and autograph at the end of the program. In addition, Ms. Wasserman will also be featured on WTNH (channel 8) during the cooking segment, In the Bender Kitchen, on Friday morning December 16th beginning at 9:00 am.
