Richard Newton, formerly an illustrator nationally known for his iconic Time, Newsweek, BusinessWeek, National Wildlife and Fortune magazine covers, makes his sculpture debut at Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek's Main Street Art Gallery on Sunday, Sept. 6th from 4-7PM. the artist will speak at 5:30pm and take questions. Newton has been a professional artist for over 35 years and has mounted advertising campaigns for the U.S. Postal Service, Sprint, General Electric, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
Newton's exhibit will continue through Nov. 15th and will be open and free to the public Monday to Friday, 10AM-3PM. The Sept. 6th opening will feature a wine and cheese reception with live music. There is no charge and all art lovers are welcome. The artist will make a generous contribution to CBSRZ for all work sold.
