Based on the true story of Australian pianist David Helfgott, played by Geoffrey Rush in this academy award winning role, a child prodigy grows up in an abusive home after his father’s experience in World War II concentration camps. Both emotional and uplifting, viewers journey with Helfgott navigating life in an institution
and ultimately that of the renowned concert pianist he was always destined to be.
