Following the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by a police officer in Ferguson, MO in August 2014, protests erupted. A group of female clergy from St. Louis—Christian and Jewish—joined in common cause and stayed friends even as questions of antisemitism and anti-Zionism emerged in the movement. On this call, we will hear from two members of the group, Rev. Dr. Karen Anderson and Rabbi Andrea Goldstein, who will share the story of their transformational journey.
Featuring:
Maharat Rori Picker Neiss, Executive Director, JCRC of St. Louis
Rabbi Andrea Goldstein, Congregation Shaare Emeth
Rev. Dr. Karen Anderson, Ward Chapel AME Church
