April 4th Kicks off Perspectives with Jews on Broadway
WOODBRIDGE –The JCC is excited to announce its Perspectives 2013: That’s Entertainment! focusing
on the fascinating stories behind the work of performing arts, including musical theater and comedy.
Perspectives kicks off with Jews on Broadway on April 4 at 7:30 p.m. featuring Michael Kantor,
producer of the PBS documentary, “Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy” in conversation with Michael
Price, Artistic Director of Goodspeed Musicals. Kantor and Price will share secrets of the making of the
documentary and discuss how Jews and Jewish culture transformed the theater world. Singer/musician
Andrew Rubenoff joins them to bring life to iconic musical theater numbers with surprising Jewish
origins. Tickets are $12 ($10 for members) and are available online at www.jccnh.org, or 203.387.2522.
