My son and I took a walk down memory lane this past week and visited Laura Prestash, Head Teacher at the JCC’s Kindergarten program. My son started the program as a 4 1/2 year old boy and Laura was his beloved teacher. He is now 21, and a junior in college at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Laura greeted us at the door with the same excitement, passion, and interest that she showed my son every day when he was her student. There was no mistake how happy she was to see us and how much she still cared. We feel blessed to have been given such a strong foundation that is so necessary for children to feel loved nurtured, and ready to learn. This program allowed my son to thrive academically, socially and developmentally. Laura is an exceptionally skilled teacher. She consistently set the bar high and was instrumental in paving the way for a lifetime of learning and success for our son.
