Community update June 16, 2017

The work continues since the decision to return to our Jewish community building on Amity Road.  Once Svigals + Partners came onboard as the project architect, workshops occurred focusing on three category areas:

  • Yeladim, Café, Public Space & Security

Heartfelt Support in Light of Bomb Threats

These postcards and others were pouring in from all over the country after bomb threats received at our JCC. We cannot be thankful enough for this support from complete strangers, our members, and our community. 

 

 

 

The JCC Moves Forward

Each day, the work continues at the JCC at 360 Amity Road, completing demolition, opening walls and cleaning extensively. The insurance adjusters are in the process of determining the scope of work to be done. The remediation process should be completed by mid-March.
