The Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven and its Jewish Community Relations Council, along with Jewish community leaders, met with U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, state Rep. Themis Klarides and First Selectman Ellen Scalettar on Thursday, Feb. 23, at Congregation B'nai Jacob, to discuss security issues and the rise in anti-Semitism and acts of hate across the country. There have been 64 incidents of threats against JCCs across the country, including two made to our JCC of Greater New Haven.
