Renowned historian and New Haven resident Marc Wortman will speak about his latest book, Admiral Hyman Rickover: Engineer of Power. In his exciting new biography, Wortman explores the life of the man known as the "Father of the Nuclear Navy." A Jew born in a Polish shtetl, Rickover ultimately became the longest-serving U.S. military officer in history. Rickover faced and provoked constant conflict, revolutionizing the navy and Cold War strategy.
