Jewish Senior Services is proud to present the fourth annual Joel and Lois Coleman Lecture, "Seinfeld and Aging: What Popular Culture Can Teach Us About Caring for Older Adults." The program will be presented on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 7:30 pm at The Jewish Home, 175 Jefferson Street in Fairfield, CT. This engaging and informative lecture is open to the public and free of charge. Dr. Mark Lachs, a highly regarded physician, teacher, scholar, and researcher in the field of geriatrics and gerontology will be this year's guest speaker. A prominent speaker on the topics of the frail and disenfranchised elderly, elder abuse, medical ethics and health care financing, Dr. Lachs has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and has authored Treat Me Not My Age, one of the best consumer health books of the year. He has appeared frequently on NBC's Today Show and NPR's Morning Edition. Dr. Lachs also writes for The Wall Street Journal and Huffington Post.
