Powered by Jewish values

JCC Day Camps is a diverse community. Campers and staff join us from a wide range of religious affiliations, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds. Jewish values are woven throughout camp life. However, no particular Jewish education or background is presumed or expected and everyone, no matter what their beliefs, is welcome at JCC Day Camps.

Jewish values, like tzedakah (giving back), tikkum olam (repairing of the world), and tzelem (respect for self and others) are woven into every aspect of our camp activities. Our camp instills a sense of pride and belonging to the Jewish people, and fosters a desire to make the world a better place. Our campers also get to experience Israeli culture firsthand with our “shlichim,” young emissaries from Israel, who teach about Israel using a wide variety of activities.

Join us LIVE for our JCC Camps of North America Flagpole, a gathering of solidarity and song! The weekly Flagpole series features inspiring news from JCC Camp community leaders, directors, counselors, campers and alumni and is hosted by Rick Recht! Join us every Wednesday evening LIVE on the Jewish Community Centers of North America Facebook page

*The Flagpole series is part of a nationwide initiative launched by the Staenberg Family Foundation.
