The Painted Pomegranate is a new creative center for children. The Pomegranate will allow parents (both members and non-members) to drop their children off in an experiential learning center where children can create in the art room, act on the stage, manipulate objects in the sensory tables, and become comfortable in the book nook. Classes including yoga for kids, Music Together, Music and Me, and theater, will run throughout the week. Afterschool activities for older children, fabulous birthday parties, and various parent and children workshops will also be offered.

Drop n’ Create Monday-Friday • 10:15am-2:00pm
Your child can be dropped off for up to 2 hours and explore our many creative stations in the Pomegranate! Stations include art area, sensory, theater, literacy, creative play, and more! Children will not only love the freedom of exploration, but the attention that they will receive from our educated and experienced staff. A small and exciting playscape is also on premises.

Book n’ Craft Monday-Friday • 2:00pm-3:00pm
While snuggling up in our book nook we will be exploring stories that engage the theme of the day. After being inspired by our reading, we will move into the art space and create works with mixed media. Your children will love the combination of a relaxing story-time, and an engaging craft.

Tiny Tunes Tuesdays • 9:30am-10:15am
Our center art instructor will show your children creative ways to construct their own instruments. Musical games will be played, and world music will be explored and celebrated.


Free Play Friday Fridays (beginning 4/9) • 9:30am-3:30pm
Friday is a day for open play! The center is open for drop offs, mommy groups, mini field trips and more. Come and allow your children to create and explore our exciting and ever-changing environment. Reservations for groups over 6 required.

Our Center babysitting room is being transformed in coordination with the Painted Pomegranate,and it will now be titled the Little Seeds Care Center. The center will be updated to include healthy and interactive toys and a progressive approach to childcare.
